Mini-Biography
about Yourself:
I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky – with amazing,
loving parents and two fabulous, pestering brothers that instilled
my competitive drive! I partially owe my figure
career to them… who knew pushing me around would pay off?!?!
J
Currently, I am an Administrative Officer for Specialty and
Acute Care at the Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center- I love my job
and love the Vets I serve!
I completed my MPH and MHA and started my residency with the
Veteran's Health Administration and the rest is history-
In the time I am away from work- I train and compete in figure
competitions- I have done 7 shows thus far and one National Level
show~ Looking forward to a strong 2009 season!

J
Best Accomplishment So Far:
When I first decided to change my life I was 180lbs and 29% body
fat- I was always told that because of my "genes" I would never be
in shape or smaller... well- I started slow- but in 8 months I lost
40lbs and went to my first figure competition- seeing the girls on
stage, I was like- "I can do this!" and I did! It was one of the
most rewarding
things I have ever done for myself and now I want to help
encourage others to reach their goals! It's all possible! It's all
in how bad you want it!
"To live is to choose- but to choose well, you must know who you
are and what you stand for- where you want to go and why you want
to get there."

Future Goals:
Continue career with the VA- help OIF/OEF
vets continue to develop and stay active after physical injury-
also hope to inspire and encourage other women to set and reach
goals for themselves… even if them seem
impossible-
In terms of figure- I intend on becoming an
IFBB pro – in
hopes of being extremely competitive at that level-.
