Describe yourself briefly.: Very independent, outgoing and fun loving mom who loves to work and play hard in the gym. Very ambitious and successfully self-employed for the past 6 yrs as an event planner. I travel often for my business so I've visited many places and always looking for the most exotic place to explore.

Very health conscience -fitness is a part of my daily life. I recently started cycling with a group on weekends and now hooked! I also love to kick back and spent time outdoors, especially at the beach or on the water.

Outside of my time with two beautiful daughters, I enjoy going out with my wonderful group of friends for dinner (especially sushi) or relaxing at the local Starbucks.

Why did you get involved in this industry in the first place?: Following a serious accident in 2006 where I suffered a tibia plateau fracture and wasn't able to walk for six months, I was advised by my surgeons that I would have to limit the type of physical activities I was currently involved in. During this time, I also ended a 25 year marriage. At that time, I decided to get involved at my local YMCA and begin a weight traning program for physical and moral support. After training for almost two years along with intense rehab, I was encouraged by my friends to stay strong and pursue my ultimate goals of competing. I pushed myself to the limit and started not only to walk without limping, but began seeing a transformation in my overall appearance. I then decided to set a goal to compete in fitness competitions.
