I hope this finds everyone well, and working on their goals for the 2011 Competition Season.
First, I wanted to thank Fit Gems again for the 2010 Sponsorship. It was a great honor to be the first Fit Gems Sponsored athlete and I wish all of those competing for the 2011 Sponsorship great success.
Now for what is going on with me. I have a couple of things going on right now. The most recent is a photo shoot this weekend with a local photographer. I am still… Continue

I will be working for Pro Tan Backstage at NPC Nationals, but I will also be working for Fitness Pro a fairly new supplement company. I feel very honored that they have chosen me as a Fitness Pro Athlete. If in the Atlanta area Oct 15 & 16, please come visit me at The Fitness Pro Booth!

I thought I would let everyone know, that I have called off my wedding plans. We both have a lot we want to accomplish and as we sat down to discuss our goals, I realized that at this point in our lives, we were going in opposite directions. Fitness is very important to me, so for now that is where my focus needs to be. This was a very hard decision for me, but it is for the best at this time in our lives. Only God knows what the future holds, but we will remain friends.

I am still coaching gymnastics and training clients, and looking for a full-time job instead of 3 part-time jobs, I plan to still train clients and probably coach my higher level gymnast at night until state competition in March, I couldn't leave them mid-competition season, I will just stop with my younger ones, but I would like a real day job!
I am planning on attending and working with Pro-Tan at Body Building Nationals in… Continue

Just wanted to get everyone up to date. On Fathers Day weekend, while a new pro was being named at Jr. Nationals, I was being proposed to here in Atlanta at Rays on the River.
My engagement story is on www.bodysport.com posted 6/23/10 titled "Victoria Larvie says Yes"
I am staying busy with my gymnast that I coach.
I was going to compete in Dallas at the Europa, but I just couldn't get everything to come… Continue

The week after the Europa I was in Orlando again, this time as a All-Star Cheerleader competing at World's. It was a lot of fun, and although we did really well, we did not progress to day 2, so we all hit Disney. That was a blast.
I then returned, took a week off, and am now back in the gym again.
Working on some camp ideas for the summer and training my clients as well as my little gymnast. I am also plotting my next course of action for my own competition and… Continue

Well the results on the scoresheet were not what I wanted to see, but then as I spoke with one of the photographers during my photo shoot as well as my trainer, they helped to put it in perspective for me. This was one contest with one set of judges. They each have an opinion and I have my own, and as long as I am happy with myself, my workout, my progress then that is all that matters. A different set of judges on the same day, and there could have been a totally different outcome, and I… Continue

I just wanted to check in before I get so busy in the preparation of leaving for the Europa. I am feeling really good, and Kim Oddo has done an amazing job with my workouts and diet, so now it is in the judges hands to see if the package I bring to the stage is what they are looking for. I will post after the competition. Again thanks Fitgems for selecting me as your first Sponsored athlete. I hope to make you proud at the Europa.

In 2 weeks from Today, I will be checking in for the Europa. The time seems to fly by the closer it gets.
I am scheduling tanning appointments, make-up appointments and a photo shoot for after the competition is over. I highly recomment a photo shoot with a reputable photographer after your show, you are in the best shape, that is when you want your pictures made. You worked for that body, so go have it photographed, if for no one but yourself. I have bumped up my cardio to 3x a day… Continue

Four weeks out from heading to Orlando for the Europa. I am so excited about being on stage again. I love to compete, the dieting not so much, :) but the actual fitness routine is the best and has always been what hooked me into competing.
I have 2 teens plus my little sister that I am presently getting ready to start choreographing their fitness routines for a Competition in Jackson, MS at the Southern Classic. Two of the girls have never competed fitness before, My sister… Continue

Had check-in with my trainer Kim Oddo this morning. He changed a few of my workouts and diet items, but other than that all is good. My swimsuit arrived today. So all seems to be righ on track. Staying busy with work, running the routine and my own training.

Dieting and exercise are going well. This weekend is our teams last All-Star Cheer Competition for the regular season. These next 6 weeks are all about Fitness preparation and countdown. My Cheer coach is also my choreographer, so I will still see him, to be running my routine to perfection.

I can't believe that in less than 8 weeks I will be competing again. I recently contacted Kim Oddo for training and nutrition. I was trying to do it on my own and decided I was not making the progess that I needed to, to be ready. The man is amazing, no wonder he has so many athletes contacting him.

10 weeks out and already feeling the stress of no chocolate....LOL Had my yummy asparagus this evening for dinner as my little sister sat there eating mashed potatoes with gravy. :( I continue to do cardio, posing practice and then add in all-star cheer practice, as well as training clients and coaching gymnastics, leaves little time for much else, but I love it. Fitness to me is the best sport in the industry. Of course I am partial. Headed out to practice, everyone have a great rest of the… Continue

This past weekend, Our Cheer team had to cancel. One girl was diagnosed with Mono on Friday, then another sprained her fingers at practice on Friday and couldn't tumble and another was running a fever, so trying to replace 3 at a last minute Saturday practice was not an option. We tried, and while we were switching the stunts around Someone jammed my finger when they were coming out of basket toss, but I was still able to tumble, almost too well, I got too high and had to roll out of the… Continue

Well the Contest Prep begins, with that so does the dieting and the removal of chocolate. Let's just say this is worse than rush week at college for my family. LOL
I have decided that management is not for me, I need more time to train myself as well as work on my new "Fitness for Kids" idea, so the end of this month I will no longer be a Training Assistant Manager at LA Fitness, but will continue to work there as a personal trainer in the mornings, and work on my kids project in the… Continue

One more week of cheating allowed, and then I start the buckling down to prepare to compete in April. I have already started back to the tanning bed, it makes it so much easier to tan for competition if you have some color before they start packing on the product. Workouts continue, I don't ever stop working out, I will just up the Cardio as I head into competition mode, as well as running my routine 1-2 times a week.
Of course still cheering through the end of February so that helps… Continue

I am super excited about being new to FitGems. I currently working for LA Fitness as a personal Trainer/ assist training manager. I am in off season for now, after making my Pro Debut at the Ft. Lauderdale cup in October. I will start gearing up soon to compete in April. I usually stay within 5 lbs of competition weight and continue to work out even in off season. I usually start the eliminating all my cheat foods about 12 weeks out. So I will keep you up to date as I… Continue
